Terms of Service
Effective date: November 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of FableCam (the “Service”), available at https://fablecam.com and operated by Jiansheng Jiang (“we”, “us”). By using the Service or buying the full pack, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is intended for adults (parents and guardians); it is not directed to children.
1. What the Service does
You upload one photo of a room in your home. We send it to third-party AI models, which generate a playful “Santa caught on the home camera” picture and video. The Service is for entertainment only. Everything it produces is AI-generated and is not real surveillance footage. See the Privacy Policy for exactly where your photo goes.
2. Plans and price
- Free: one AI-generated photo plus a 6-second camera-style clip made in your browser. You can download both. The free clip carries a camera-style corner label. Free results stop being available after 24 hours and are deleted from our servers within 48 hours (see the Privacy Policy), so download what you want to keep.
- Upgrade preview: if you leave your email, we send you a short (about 4-second) watermarked AI video preview.
- Full pack: a one-time payment of $7.99 (USD, plus any applicable tax shown at checkout) gives you two 6-second AI videos, three camera-style still frames, a printable “North Pole visit report”, and a viewing page that unlocks on Christmas morning in the time zone you choose. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- The “free” items are free of charge with no payment details required. The video pack and the printable report are the paid part.
3. Your photo and your responsibilities
- Only upload photos of a place you live in or are allowed to photograph and share. Do not upload photos of someone else’s home.
- We recommend an empty room with no people. Please do not upload photos that show children’s faces. We do not run face recognition.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, sexual, or that you do not have the right to use. We may refuse or delete content and block misuse.
- Use the results for fun and family entertainment. Do not present them as real footage to deceive others in a harmful way — for example for insurance claims, police reports, accusations against any person, or any fraud. Sharing a clearly festive clip with family and friends is fine.
- You keep your rights in the photo you upload and grant us a limited licence to store and process it, and to pass it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, solely to create your results. We do not use your photos to train models and we do not sell them.
- You may use the results you receive for personal, non-commercial purposes, including sharing on social media. AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection.
4. AI output
AI results can be imperfect, unexpected, or differ from the example shown on our site. We cannot guarantee a specific look, that a particular object in your room appears, or that results are free of artefacts. If a result fails or looks wrong, see the Refund Policy.
5. Delivery and retention
Your uploaded photo is not stored after your AI photo is made. Free results stop being available after 24 hours and are deleted within 48 hours. Paid results are kept until the date stated in the Privacy Policy (currently January 15, 2027) so that you can watch and download them, and are then deleted. Please download your files; we cannot restore deleted files.
6. Not affiliated
FableCam is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any doorbell or home-security camera brand, or any Christmas toy, book or character brand. Any camera-style label on the videos is a generic visual style only. “Santa Claus” and “Father Christmas” are traditional folk figures.
7. Payments through Creem (Merchant of Record)
Orders are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller. Creem handles payment, sales tax/VAT, invoicing and refunds, and its own terms and privacy policy apply to the checkout. Your bank statement may show Creem’s name.

9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR IT. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do. We may suspend access for misuse. The Service is seasonal and may be taken down after the holiday period; if so, we will keep paid results available until the date stated in the Privacy Policy where practicable.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the law of your country of residence mandatorily applies (for example, consumer protection rights in the UK or EU).
